From concept to reality...
Something I've been meaning to do for a while now is provide some details of the new workshop and update the website with the look.
Overall the journey to this workshop took over a year to even get off the ground. At the start we had major setbacks on even finding a unit that was suitable, we visited and planned at least 2 workshop prior to this one in Newbury, Berkshire.
This workshop below... which needed complete renovation to make it suitable.
And then this one, which was ready to go, but terms were not agreed with the estate agents unfortunately, which was a shame as it was ready to go bar equipment.
So that wasn't ideal, but we moved on.
Skip another couple of weeks and we finally found a perfect location, but it needed a HUGE amount of work. There wasn't even a single plug socket in the workshop.
6 Months it took us to get to this stage.
Walls were sandblasted back to brick, ceiling painted for that contrasting moody look.
Fabrication and engine building area created, MOT bay and alignment bay installation plus the epoxy floor.
Bricks knocked through and huge viewing area installed from our waiting area.
Extraction systems fitted, Rotary low entry service lifts.
